Hamas has released three more prisoners as part of a ceasefire agreement it signed with Israel on January 19, 2025.
The freed prisoners are Yarden Bibas, 34, and Ofer Kalderon, 53. They were released in southern Gaza, while American-Israeli Keith Siegel, 65, was released separately.
The three have been released in total, and the group continues to say that it is committed to releasing all prisoners it holds as part of the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, which could lead to a permanent end to the war between it and Israel.
Israel, on the other hand, is also releasing Palestinian prisoners it has held at various times, as part of the agreement aimed at ending the more than a year-long war in the Gaza Strip. The war has killed more than 46,000 people and injured more than 100,000 others.
