Journalist Jean Lambert Gatare, who worked for various media outlets in Rwanda, passed away on Saturday night, after falling ill in India where he had gone for medical treatment.
The death of this man was announced in the early hours of Saturday, March 22, 2025.
Reliable information we get from IGIHE newspaper says that he had been in India for some time for medical treatment. On Friday, March 21, he began to deteriorate, and finally passed away.
Jean Lambert Gatare is one of the most popular journalists in Rwanda, especially in the field of sports and advertising.
He started working at Radio Rwanda in 1995. Since 2011, he has been working for Isango Star. In 2020, he was appointed interim editor of Rushyashya newspaper.
