AS Kigali management has announced that they have parted ways with Cameroonian striker Ghislain Armel, four months after signing him.
One of the AS Kigali management said that they decided to part ways with Ghislain Armel due to his poor performance and poor performance.
He said, “We sat down and decided to part ways amicably due to his performance on the pitch and his poor performance.”
Armel Ghislain, who played for Gasogi United and Kiyovu Sports, joined the club in August 2024 and played only 60 minutes.
The young man had stated that the reason for his parting ways with the club included not paying him his salary on time and that he had not been paid for some things, but the AS Kigali management denied this.
The club has confirmed that it will sign four players in January, including three foreigners and Haruna Niyonzima, who has agreed to return to the club as its former captain.
Other players to be acquired include a defensive midfielder, a striker and a winger.
AS Kigali finished the first round in third place with 26 points, which earned them a ticket to the Champions League, where they will face APR FC in the semi-finals on January 28, 2024.
