Blaise Itangishaka, who played for AS Kigali, has filed a complaint with the Rwanda Football Association (FERWAFA), demanding payment of his unpaid wages amounting to 2.4 million Rwf.
The midfielder joined AS Kigali in the 2023/24 season after leaving APR FC, which failed to provide him with playing time and decided to loan him out.
In a letter to FERWAFA, he said he wrote to request that since AS Kigali is a member, it help him and reimburse him for the money he earned in the 2023/24 season.
He said that “this amount is equivalent to four months’ wages, amounting to 2,400,000 Rwf.”
Last season was not a good one for AS Kigali in general as it was facing serious management and financial problems, which affected it and caused it to separate from some of its creditors.
Blaise Itangi, who stopped playing last year, has now been hired to coach APR WFC, which plays in the First Division in Bagore.
